About the Author
David Wheeler was born in Bremen, Georgia. He is the youngest of eight children. He attended Faulk-ner University and Amridge University in Montgomery, Alabama. David is a retired pulpit minister who lives with his wife, Carolyn, in Cumming, Georgia. They have been married for sixty years. He has served churches in Jacksonville, Florida; Lake Butler, Florida; Mobile, Alabama; East Tallassee, Alabama; and Charlotte, North Carolina. He also worked with Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, and Greater Atlanta Christian School in Atlanta, Georgia.
David is a true gentleman who enjoys watercolor painting and likes to talk about his three children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. David says, “My wife, Carolyn, is still my source of strength and love. Her love, encouragement, and constant care continue to make my life worth living. I am very thankful for her and my entire family, whose love and support give me hope for our future generations.”
For the past thirty years, David has lived with physical pain as the result of a back injury and failed back surgeries. A Cry for Relief is an account of God working through the physical and emotional suffering of a person’s life and helping him to discover the meaning of true joy on his journey. “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.“
